OUR SERVICES
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MONITORING
This is frequently required as part of the planning schedule. All works are undertaken by a licensed archaeologist. They will be present for excavation works to access the area for sub surface remains. Works will be undertaken ensure minimal disruption to the development while protecting our cultural heritage.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Archaeological testing or assessments can be required at further information stage in the planning process. This allows archaeological remains to be identified and any issues relating to them avoided at design stage. We regularly undertake these projects and eliminate delays in the planning process.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL TESTING
We have undertaken archaeological testing as part of multiple developments including road realignments, windfarms, housing developments and urban redevelopments. This involves excavating trenches at locations across the proposed development by mechanical excavator.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION
In certain areas and instances excavation works will be required prior to development. This will be undertaken by a professional team of archaeologists to specific timeframes and budgets.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS)
We have contributed to EIA for every sector in Ireland including windfarms, quarry and mining projects, industrial and residential developments. We have also provided expert witness services at a number of Oral Hearings.
